International Debutant
lmaoooo good result, foxcroft you beaut
Hay, Ashok and O'Rourke were in the original 15 player squad, didn't play 1st game. Abbas and van Beek (and Rae 12th) are the additions.Interesting to see Abbas, Van Beek, Ashok and O'Rourke elevated to the squad. Hope Abbas and Ashok inparticular give it a good nudge
I hope these players actually play. I know supposedly being in the squad and training is good for development blah blah blah but this is literally the last game of the season so they should be given a run, especially Abbas.Hay, Ashok and O'Rourke were in the original 15 player squad, didn't play 1st game. Unfortunately looks like Randell still unavailable. Assume McConchie and Bracewell given a break before they go to Pakistan / England. Duffy was only available for 1st game, getting married this weekend.
Yeah obviously no where near the finished product yet but he has the skill set to play international cricket for 10 plus years. Worth more of a shot then playing a 32 year old seamerStill looks pretty gentle through the crease, Kristian Clarke. Probably needs to not be into a walk before the ball is down the other end. Otherwise they'll just opt for Solia and get some opening batting thrown into the bargain.
Yeah the run up really sticks out as being horrible, but it is one thing decent coaches can usually improve with a bit of work.Still looks pretty gentle through the crease, Kristian Clarke. No he bloody well shouldn’t.10/3/31/3 Scott Kuggeleign should be in nz team now
That is why he is not in playing XL today huunn!Yes McConchie made the T20 touring squad, didn't he. Those players are on a plane to Pakistan tomorrow.
So not Jurgenson then?Yeah the run up really sticks out as being horrible, but it is one thing decent coaches can usually improve with a bit of work.
of course not him, jurgensen only wants bowlers that already have all their s**t sorted so he can show up and set up stumps in net practiceSo not Jurgenson then?
Enabling more CW puns, obviously. What the hell is van Beek doing playing in this game?
That's exactly what happened to "running through treacle" Jamieson. Pity we lost Malan.Yeah the run up really sticks out as being horrible, but it is one thing decent coaches can usually improve with a bit of work.
Au contraire, van Beek's been very good for Wellington in red ball recently, if rather quietly. Still very odd there is no sign whatsoever of Ray Toole -- otherwise the pace cupboard looks pretty bare tbh. Still a bad pick, van Beek. What the hell is van Beek doing playing in this game? That is a truly bizarre selection. I know others have commented earlier in the thread, but I need to register my bemusement. A 32 year old Dutch medium pacer who has been very poor for Wellington for a number of years now. Weird.
