Some of the regulars here are far too critical, for example take GS Kohli , the poor chap has gotten some stick for his posts even though he doesn't challenge anyone.
Yes, but once in a while I would like to get an opinion from someone who studies subject matter for a living, rather than as a hobby. Doesn’t mean they are always right of course, but their insight is more likely to provide me new information.Aren't we all, when it comes to economics?
but enough about rugby unionr/rugbyunion used to be genuniely great, then they threw out most of the rules and it became just memes.
"Here's my island, pop 180k. It's a soulless grid of efficiency with traffic at 87%. I've called it New Amsterparis"r/citieskylines is excellent and what drew me to reddit. My only criticism would be some have decided good urban planning = the only way you are allowed to play the game. Thankfully there's been some very firm pushback.
I'm not sure tbh. The number of obnoxiously biased English, Crusaders and Blues fans has ruined it for years.r/rugbyunion used to be genuniely great, then they threw out most of the rules and it became just memes.
I avoid Reddit generally but yesssssssss that one's greatMy new fav is r/vexillologycirclejerk.

Not "everyone". There are definitely a fair few people who aren't a fan of his posting.yeah didn’t he get his ban reduced after everyone called it a joke? thats a sign of someone who is well liked
indeed which also speaks well as to the veracity of this community and how it is actually warm and welcoming eh!Regulars also stood up for him
Spark the moderator and Spark the poster are two of them. Not "everyone". There are definitely a fair few people who aren't a fan of his posting.
My favourites are the ones who turn up, put in really low effort cricket posts of no real opinion or value, which is a smokescreen for them to go hard with increasingly racist posts in the N+P sub (but are always just "asking questions").My favourite new guys are the ones who show up, wow the pigeons with some zany cricket posts, then get banned a week later for just being terrible.
He can post some very reasonable stuff and when he brings a bit of personal life info it it's a bit more grounded and interesting. Not "everyone". There are definitely a fair few people who aren't a fan of his posting.
i suppose and not to relitigate what already happened and justice prevailed, if posting is "tedious" you can sort of just scroll past it or not engage, whereas with the other category of poster you identify they're vile and bring down the name and repute of the whole community, and may even specifically attack other identities or groups within the communityHe can post some very reasonable stuff and when he brings a bit of personal life info it it's a bit more grounded and interesting.
The flip side is score updates in a match thread when anyone interested in the match will be watching, listening or following Cricinfo. It becomes tedious.

i think it's great as a community that we gang tackle vile bigots tbh because bigotry is not welcome in our house
the score updates are at least tolerable as they are small and can easily be scrolled past. the previews and factoids copied from preview articles though, pain in the ass to scroll past due to how long they areHe can post some very reasonable stuff and when he brings a bit of personal life info it it's a bit more grounded and interesting.

careful you’ll bring the defensive argument from people who only have these forums as accessible for some reason that it allows them to follow a match by reading through the posts after the match is long overPersonally a huge fan of the score updates from 20 minutes ago
