You watch Milne’s first over and you start to think “Jeez how does this guy not have hundreds of wickets?”

Then you watch the second over and think “Oh, that’s why.”

The same with Neesham except it was his first ball and his second ball.

I really can't get in behind this side. There's almost no one I want to see play for NZ in this format, apart from maybe the King Ship and Chapman, plus two bolted in T20I players (Mitchell and Sodhi) we know a lot about. Hence why I'm not watching.

Ravindra, but he's batting out of order. I want Lister to succeed because having some left armer seamers has been good for us in the past.

But other than that. Seifert? Eurgh. Milne? Used to be a big fan but hes now the Shaun Marsh of bowling really.

Nah pretty recent change.

Also interesting to note that the short wide delivery isn't actually a bad delivery for the spinner here
Short and wide is much more effective at Eden Park with the new direction (well not new, but changed from my day) of the pitch. In the older days, when the pitch ran from east to west (?), short was death.

Ravindra isn't a T20 player. Averages 15 with the bat. And if they want a spinner, there's better options.

The issue with Lister is that he swings the ball the wrong way. I can't think of any examples of successful left arm outswing bowlers in internationals, cuts out too many modes of dismissal.

This is true, but exposure and experience is good for him. Unless he fails, then he's discarded until he's 35.

Shipley just looks on the next level, like he has an extra 10 years of experience over the other seamers.
