buddy thats an announcement made for the purpose of conveying info and news by the cricket board who wants to pass it on. that doesn’t require crediting the source
Is there a cw guideline on what is to be credited and what is not required to be? Or are we framing our own?

Have a good Ford Trophy tournament. I actually suspect some players are named often because they end up in both L/O squads, and it saves NZC on flight costs, amongst other things (NZTs krazy kricket konspiracy). Clarkson scored 82 @ 11 and took 6 @ 21 (good) but as an all-rounder he's not making the ODI squad
Tbf Clarkson has been in good form either side of the ford trophy and has a solid record in the format overall. Don't see why you can't take him as an odo option.

Fair point, I didn't know this was the case. His numbers in the round robin must've been pretty mud, though...I think a lot of us believe we've seen what he's capable of, and would prefer we see what other guys look like.
Which other T20 opener would you have picked instead of Seifert?

Katene Clarke? But then two newcomers opening.

McClure I think injured.

Promoted Young / Ravindra?

Taking a spare batter on a white ball tour doesn't always make sense. Ask Mark Chapman, T20I tour in Ireland got 0 games from 3, in Scotland 1 from 2, in Netherlands 0 from 2.

Or would you have picked Clarkson ahead of Chapman or Young or Neesham?

Yeah given recent form i'de have taken him over chapman or neeshaw. Neeshaw isn't a consistent part of the ODI team and has been subpar in franchise cricket in the past 12 months, also hasn't been great for NZ in t20I's.

dont think anyone had any issue with him copying and pasting small tidbits but more with the constant spam of them and then following it up with long walls of texts that aren't his either

also you cannot be seriously comparing posting a squad announcement to copying an entire article that is the work of someone else?

Yes, if this is the understanding, I am fine with it too. Good to clarify with him on this and good to see that he has now started giving credits too.

@G. S. Kohli I love your work on providing good information to us on cricket but I do think Sorcerer has a point here. If you want us to read an entire article, you can just provide the link of it here instead of posting the whole article which is a major part of why a lot think your work is spam. Hope you can understand.

Blundell? I know he isn't a T20 opener, but he'd do it well. I dunno, your point is exactly correct. I guess we don't have any other options now that we went away from Guptill and he became a mercenary shortly after (two related events), Allen is away, they've washed their hands of Munro etc.

Doesn't look like temperature will break into double figures tomorrow when cricket is scheduled. Not that any cricket will happen anyway, but would've been funny.
