Not talking who was a better athlete. Botham was a significantly better fieldsman than Kapil

botham was very good in the slips and was a very good fielder in his prime but kapil was an all-round great fielder and catcher for most of his career...no way was he "significantly better" especially in one dayers...

Agree with NcCullum. All of those were better fielders than Kane who is very good (even Crowe with a bad knee - apparently he was absolutely brilliant when young). Although Crowe could open instead of Astle, and Kane at 3.

Nah. Jaya was a all round fields man, very quick across ground, and a rocket arm, points over Junior Waugh. If Waugh is there for slip catching, the Jayawardane easily trumps him.

There were three blokes called Roger Harper, Upul Chandana and Ruwan Kalpage. Equal or better in field and easily better spinners, However with exception of Chandana all other three were meh as spinners.

Vincent was dymamic but had dodgy hands. Wasn't a high percentage catcher like the others.
