*Official* Sri Lanka in New Zealand 2022/23

I can't remember a statistically worse NZ bowling attack in the last 25 years. These are the bowling averages for the NZ "attack"

Southee: 29.10
Henry: 38.02
Tickner 41.25
D Bracewell 38.83/Kuggleijn 40.25
M Bracewell 44.89
Mitchell: 109.33

When all but one bowler averages over 38, it isn't pretty reading.
Dougeh has the third best average.

Dougeh.

The Bracewell takeover of New Zealand cricket is now complete. Honorary Bracewell Ian Smith is somehow behind all this, I just know it.

Looking at the forecast for tomorrow and Tuesday, why is Sri Lanka playing the spinner? 95% chance of rain on Tuesday and tomorrow looks wet as well. Not bowled well today. Matthews will probably need to get through a fair few overs.
