*Official* England in NZ 2023

Well done England. First win in NZ since Southee debuted and a comprehensive way to do it. This is the best I have ever seen them bowl on NZ soil. In general, their rapid turning of results around is a tribute to their effort and ability.

I will save my NZ stuff for later. Suffice to say Conway and Blundell are absolute jets.

Latham could have fashioned a much better record against the better teams if not for his lack of concentration and getting himself out after a start. The number of times he's thrown his own wicket away without the bowler doing anything great.

nah he's just gonna keep going until he's kicked the bucket i reckon
Kick the bucket perhaps an exaggeration, but he has no major injuries, he is by far our best seam bowler, he'll carry on until his form declines, and there’s no suggestion that is happening, aTM I'm pretty sure he'll beat warne wicket wise, but hey one major injury stops it all, and the older you are the more likely it'll happen.

Just get frustrated by lots of our local media commentators claiming how world class Latham is but to me he’s nowhere near it
I can get the frustration with Latham, but he's still got 5000 test runs @40+ as an opener in a very hard batting era. Ide say that's world class, even if he's been in questionable form recently.
