Jeez thats some embarrassing pronunciation. This thread should not even exist. He has been plucking catches like below ever since he was just 3.
Also tells that Tony Greig was a quick learner.Jeez thats some embarrassing pronunciation.
I had the feeling he was more throwing out different ones hoping someone would tell him when he got it right. Also tells that Tony Greig was a quick learner.
You will see this is a point I have been making since about 2015 here.Very very good , but has he been held back a bit in his quest to being an ATG ?
I think so , I don't think India really maximised his ability because of the luxury he brings to the table as a three dimensional cricketer .. Certainly in the last few years he's been flourishing with more responsibility as a batsman ..I think that could have happened a lot sooner in his career.. He's that good there shouldn't even be a rotation policy between Ashwin and Jadeja away from home .
He averages 30 in Australia thanks to a green Hobart deck in 2016.Philander has a better away average and a much higher percentage of away tests. Most notably he doesn’t average 34 in Australia. Big Vern ftw.
Philander is much more condition dependent than Anderson and is outright bad in Asia.Anderson is very bad in Aus, NZ, SA but adequate in Asia. Philander was excellent in NZ, Aus, and England but very bad in Asia.
Sanga has more than double the games than Jadeja and plenty of quality away performances. If Sangakkara can be ATG (lol) because of dem *** stats then Jadeja definitely qualifies as an ATG all-rounder.
Doesn't take away from the fact that Jadeja hasn't played enough to be called an ATG.As the number of games grows so does the chance of good performances. Sanga was meh in Australia but managed one good innings that dragged up his average.
Since you couldn’t tell, that post was tongue in cheek. He averages 30 in Australia thanks to a green Hobart deck in 2016.
Anderson actually has an entire series winning performance in 2010.
Gotcha.Since you couldn’t tell, that post was tongue in cheek.
Woah woah woah. This is like saying Ian Bell had a series-winning 2005 or Marcus Harris held the Ashes for Aus in 2019.Anderson actually has an entire series winning performance in 2010
As in, he played a defining role in the series victory like Flintoff 2005.Woah woah woah. This is like saying Ian Bell had a series-winning 2005 or Marcus Harris held the Ashes for Aus in 2019.
Also just saying Philander has never lost a series in AustraliaHe averages 30 in Australia thanks to a green Hobart deck in 2016.
Anderson actually has an entire series winning performance in 2010.
The answer to this is Jadeja as well. In fact, he has never lost a series against Australia. Played 4, won 4. Clean slate. Also just saying Philander has never lost a series in Australia
