I really miss an international LO series post-test matches these days. I know the India tour is only a couple of weeks away which makes it less annoying this year, but an old-style tri-series held after the test matches was always decent fare on the run into footy season.

It's not the same anymore is it. How good was 5-6 Tests from October to early Jan and then a month of ODI tri-series. You can't beat it. Sad what the summer has become

Have to say Spencer Johnson looked impressive. Lovely, easy action too. Any chance him playing fc cricket or is he too injury prone?

It's possible, I definitely think he's good enough but injuries very much have held him back at times. Was very close to being selected by the SACAs for the last round of the last Shield season, but in the end was overlooked, which I was really quite disappointed with
