Pretty important couple of series for NZ in terms of preparation ahead for the WC. Really wish the selectors had thrown a few more new or less regular names into the mix, but oh well. Look forward to Shipley at least for this tour.

Lots of talk from the commentators about whether NZ should target 300, or 275, or 250 depending on the pitch. So far I don't think it's the pitch stopping us scoring though, it's that Pakistan's bowling has been excellent, just like in the T20 World Cup semi final where we could only make a below-par score batting first.
