I mean, to an extent, you do have to consider the ground shape, dimensions, stands etc when determining visibility levels for the players. I am not sure of a standard but surely some level of objectivity should be brought in or at least tried.

I don't disagree, but the level of variation that would induce is likely less than the random whims of umpires introduces.

Those things will influence the amount of light reaching the centre yes. That doesn't alter the visibility at a given brightness.

Do you mean the city of Chennai and the historical context in which Burgey would often refer to how Chennai smells like poo and is basically an open flowing sewer of a city? But because HB was angry the useless mods who couldn't even ban a Nazi who lasted on this forum longer than Nazi Germany lasted in World War Two (2) decided to shut any discourse about Chennai down?
