This new heat team sucks. They look half competent on paper then are just beyond dreadful in actual games. I Miss the old heat, boof's twitter account would get hacked by pro israeli terrorist's mid game heat, the failing to chase 140 after being 80/0 in the pp heat, the signing ab de villiers only for him to rock up out of shape and do **** all brisbane heat. I would watch games just too see how they would manage to lose their next game, and they very rarely let me down.

Saf rise and fall reminds me a lot of Windies.

1. Lost their powerful batting line-up. Windies lost fantastic Batsmen especially ATG Brian lara. Now they are inept with not a single decent batsman. Saf lost several ATG batsmen - Kallis, de villiers , smith and Hashim Amla, and even wicketkeeper batters boucher or de Kock or all rounders like Pollock or klusener

2. Lost their atg bowlers, Steyn, Philander and Morkel is one of the ATG 3 prong seam attacks in the history of this sport.
So the two key factors in the decline of these two teams that make their declines peculiarly similar were:
I) Batting got worse
Ii) Bowling got worse

very illuminating, thanks.

Great knock from Warner and the Aussies are in a massively strong position and will doubtless go on to win.

Only downside was the injury to Green.

Also something needs to be done with Spidercam - whilst there was no damage done to Nortje, it could have been really nasty.

So assuming Australia wins this test, do you rest some of your main players for the tough tour ahead in India? I'd say yeah. Unless Australia wants to go for the jugular, they've pretty much already booked themselves a spot in the WTC finals. No point in risking an injury to Smith or Cummins for example.

I wouldn't rest Smith as injuries to batsmen are much rarer but fast bowlers workloads always need to be looked at carefully and why risk Cummings in a dead game.

Lose next test to make sure they play SA in the finals… between choking and current SA squad, selection makes it a guaranteed win!

Whatever it takes!!!
Isnt there a RSA Vs WI series next? Gonna be interesting to see which set of fans are gonna feel more let down by their boards and batting lineups.

Nope. There is always the risk of going down 4 zip in India. It will be guaranteed if they win the next test regardless of India

Us the WI. Our team especially the batting is grade school level outside the WI. Hopefully, the South African wickets offer some assistance to the pace bowlers. Rsa will win 2-0 with WI scoring zero team scores over 200.
