I'm asking (again), how is this pitch helping Australia?

They would rather have a good batting pitch that would take turn later on. They have the bowling to get the 10 SA wickets on any wicket. Out of all the wickets, this is the least doctored type pitch for Australia because this will even the contest

Neither this pitch helps Aus , nor extreme spin friendly pitch helps IND/SL .
But we should be consistent in our criticism towards any pitch that has excessive help for bowlers .

FTR I have no problem with this pitch . Just calling out few posters with obvious double standards regarding pace and spin.

The pitch is not good for 5-day Test match cricket. It’s not doctored though. It’s just a bit too juicy. Exacerbated by two good bowling attacks and one absolutely dire batting team.

this is a red herring though because the real question here isn't whether or not the pitch is doctored to benefit australia, rather whether or not this pitch is for pace bowling what a nagpur vs sa style pitch is for spin bowling, and thus a "bad pitch"

They made this mistake even in the first innings. Also Ngidi is an ideal first change bowler but not as good with the new ball.

This pitch is no different than Galle pitch which SL rolls out every time .
No amount of whining would change that .
And I may be reverting to old Sunilz but you are posting same junk from last 5 years and I see no change in you .

And I am not accusing Aus of pitch doctoring . I am saying this is a garbage pitch .
