Ban venues for preparing dead pitches.

Do you think ICC should seriously ban the venue or heavily fine the host country Board for preparing dead pitches. I mean these tracks are killing Test Cricket. Why do host nations even prepare them? Who will benefit? Not the two teams or the spectators or even advertisers.

I think teams should stop touring Pakistan if they prepare these sort of pitches. Btw, I have nothing against that country.

The ICC can dish out bad ratings for pitches like "poor" or "unfit" and I think fines can be involved, or at least demerit points. Usually it's not because they're too flat though, it's usually because they are dangerously unpredictable.

I think an MCG pitch a few years ago got a "poor" rating for being too slow and flat

As I think I've said before I don't have a problem with these pitches individually.

If they become the norm in a certain country, on the other hand, that's their loss. The PCB should recognise this soon enough - they're just throwing away a large chunk of their home advantage.

I think England should bat out the second day as well and then aim for 20 wickets in the last 3 days when the ball might just stay a bit low and Jimmy can hopefully reverse it as well.

The ICC should severely fine the host Board if a pitch results in more than 1400 runs scored with less than 20 wickets.

How do people in Pakistan have the motivation to even go to the stadium and watch such a boring dull match? I would rather lay stripped naked on a beach than watch a game like this!

The pitch may still break up yet, and it may not be the boring draw we all think it'll be. Have to admit it was a nice change for once to see a feast of runs
instead of all out 200, but yeah it's a stinker of a wicket.
