*Official* New Zealand v India T20s & ODIs

Was expecting Henry's beautiful figures of 8 overs for 23 to get wrecked in his final 2, but 8 runs off that was a good result.

Milne wicket meme ruined, ODI average of 40 avoided for now.
No worries, can always depend on Southee to stay true to form bowling at this stage of the innings.

Looks a great batting wicket but NZ could well miss the presence of CdG or (an in-form) Neesham down the order with this sort of a total.

I almost forgot about Sundar , he's been around for ages yet he's only 23 ...He has a great temperament, India should really try to develop him .
Yeah he's had injury problems the last little while.

As a youth cricketer he was a serious middle order batting prospect, a great field and a part-time offie. He's basically developed as a specialist "straight, bouncy dart bowler" but there's a lot of untapped batting potential there. Great to see him succeed in a role he's traditionally sucked in today. Always looks like a million bucks.

Good test this. In the old days, Taylor would’ve made mincemeat of a 300ish target, will be interesting to see how NZ hold up without him.

Latham has effectively been moved up to Taylor's spot where someone like Will Young might have slotted in. Generally does well against India so probably a key figure in this chase.

Umran bowling few 150k thunderbolts would be great... Field sets would be key for Dhawan. Just copy whatever Kane did with Ferguson.

Only once 300+ has been chased in Auckland way back in 2007.
To be fair, Eden Park hasn't hosted that many ODIs since then, and its more recent games include chases of 314 to tie, 299-6 from 43 overs, 288-4 from 48 overs, and Australia's 280 chasing 286.
