He has a strangely long run up for the pace the ball comes out at.Right in to the attack. I honestly don't know why he keeps getting picked - invariably smashed, so he doesn't bowl much at all. Now he's only getting smashed further lol
ND have always been the classic team to do this, this match a case-in-point. The top four are batsmen (though what a relief, two of them can bowl just in case), a wicketkeeper at five and an engine room of six bowlers batting 6-11 in which literally all might make a claim to be domestic-level allrounders. And right on plan, the engine room scored nearly all the runs here.I think generally every NZ domestic side tends to play one more bowler than usual in FC. (but the bowlers end up getting all the runs anyway)
There seems to be a chronic fear of playing less than 4 specialist seamers.
Get him in the Black Caps. We need more Saffas (joke). I see he'd scored 11 runs in his last 4 innings.100 (72) for Chad Bowes.
Yes, you read that right (presumably).
Shades of Peter Fulton with some of those drop kick shots into the leg side.Yes even back in those SA U19 days, the pull shots attempted against pace and bounce didn't look promising.

Probably makes a lot of sense that it's the slowcoach 'hey where's my humid air gone!' Auckland attack that he's managed this ton against.
Yeah he's a loss to NZ domestix even though I used him as an example of NZ Pitches All Gone Wrong with dibbly dobblies dominating. Looked him up on cricinfo and the first CC match that I clicked on of his was a 131&73 plays 107&59 affair - mmm yeah I'm not surprised he likes playing there.I just remembered Will Wiliams existed and wondered why he wasn't playing. I forgot he's playing for Lancashire now. He took 36 wickets @ 17 with the best ER in division one by the looks of it at 2.09.
Warwick Armstrong has been resurrected?Love the Big Ship back into it and picking up wickets.
True...gonna need a new name.Warwick Armstrong has been resurrected?
