Norwood's on Fire
England are now the greatest limited overs side of all time as the only ever dual T20/ODI champions. We are also the greatest T20 side ever with two titles, one silver and a semi. @chris.hinton foresaw these riches
He's also talking great things for our test team.......domination of all formats in sight!!England are now the greatest limited overs side of all time as the only ever dual T20/ODI champions. Don’t worry I’m now on the home straight to recoveryReliably informed a semi is about as good as it gets for Cozza these days
This honestly is almost Stokes in a nutshell, with the caveat that his normal output is better than merely "****". Like, in an average game he's an above-average but otherwise unremarkable international cricketer but in clutch situations he's basically an ATG.Stokes was both **** and clutch af.
He stunk it up early on but the minute the pressure was on and he saw an opening he executed nervelessly.
centurymaker has form on this IIRC, he was going around saying more or less the exact same stuff in 2015 when SA lost to NZ in the WC semi-final, that SA was actually the second best team and deserved to be in the final etc etc. Somehow the idea that tournament play is about on-field results and only on-field results, not who is actually "better", has still not sunk in.You sound very stupid
Missed out Wales, Phil Salt the only Welsh World Cup winner ever? He actually could have played for Windies too. Fine sign of a multi-cultural diverse country, think we should all be proud.Oh what stunning wit
yeah but that doesn't mean that teams that didn't go as far aren't "better"centurymaker has form on this IIRC, he was going around saying more or less the exact same stuff in 2015 when SA lost to NZ in the WC semi-final, that SA was actually the second best team and deserved to be in the final etc etc. Somehow the idea that tournament play is about on-field results and only on-field results, not who is actually "better", has still not sunk in.
Well, "awarded" one World Cup after a tie, and won the other. It is kinda amazing that there are only 4 players that won both World Cup with only 3 years separating.
So well done Jos, Ben, Adil and Chris.
Oh stunning line, well done old chap. You keep on believing it if it makes you feel better.Well, "awarded" one World Cup after a tie, and won the other.
Nah. Geraint Thomas and other cyclists were World Champions. Lots of Welsh boxers have been World Champions too.Missed out Wales, Phil Salt the only Welsh World Cup winner ever?
Well the World Cup was my point, but yeah, probably the League thing, and maybe a rugger-bugger in 2003.Nah. Geraint Thomas and other cyclists were World Champions. Lots of Welsh boxers have been World Champions too.
Also Great Britain (not England) won the Rugby League World Cup 3 times in the 20th century. There would have been some Welshmen in there.
Yeah but going on about it when all they needed to do was beat the ****ing Netherlands, it wears thinyeah but that doesn't mean that teams that didn't go as far aren't "better"
whether or not these matters of "deservedness" actually matter though is a whole 'nother question, though given this is an online cricket discussion board it's a fair thing to post about i think!!
Rugby Union in 2003 was England. Wales went out in the 1/4 finals.Well the World Cup was my point, but yeah, probably the League thing, and maybe a rugger-bugger in 2003.
England won both by the rulebook. Don’t agree to rules and complain after the event.Well, "awarded" one World Cup after a tie, and won the other.
It's become a meme or summat mate, so gets 20 likes a post, just laugh at it, it is laughable after all. I'm more interested in what I can do with Alipean.England won both by the rulebook. Don’t agree to rules and complain after the event.
