Hopefully the government lets them back out and doesn't go all 2020 about the 'fourth wave'.Was nice of you to actually let people in the country for a change

There’s a reason you’ve not visited yet. Character tests involved. Was nice of you to actually let people in the country for a change
Nah, we had enough wickets left to still be favourites injury or not.Pakistan were slight favourites at that stage. The injury was a key moment. Yes England may have still won, but they were definitely struggling at that stage by perhaps 60-40 to Pakistan. You might argue the injury wasn’t down to luck but poor judgment however. Just one of those things and a reason to introduce subs for injuries
The summer has barely begun and the pitches have already turned slow and low.I look forward to both captains and the icc acknowledging the generosity and hospitality of the Australian people in the presentation ceremony.
in a world gone mad, australia provided sanctuary and bonhomie to the world’s best cricketers and hosted the greatest cricket tournament ever. And all outside the regular international cricket season.
An incredible race of people.
I’m like Ben Stokes, always bring it under the toughest circumstances. Also, a ****.Thierry done some solid posting in this thread even though he drunk and high

I don’t know for sure but think England were behind on DLS and win predictors at that stage. Also dug a huge hole for themselves in recent overs which the predictors and DLS wouldn’t take into account.Nah, we had enough wickets left to still be favourites injury or not.
I don’t know what your definition of low and slow is, but a keeper standing about 28 metres back and taking them head high aint it.The summer has barely begun and the pitches have already turned slow and low.
Enjoy the best Australian summer of cricket that lies ahead.
Maybe his definition of low and slow is the keeper taking it 30 metres back?I don’t know what your definition of low and slow is, but a keeper standing about 28 metres back and taking them head high aint it.
England were always raging favs throughout the run chase, even though at one point they got behind on D/LI don’t know for sure but think England were behind on DLS and win predictors at that stage. I felt England would have beaten Ireland with all the context but behind on DLS so lost. This was different as England weren’t going anywhere. Perfectly happy England won though.
-Totally agree. DLS robbed them v/s Ireland, as it doesn’t take into account that England bat very deep & have power hitters all the way down. Just because they were 5 down didn’t mean they’re going to lose. They only needed another 53 off 5.3 overs. In fact, DLS had them lose by 5 runs!!!England just too good. They’d have coasted it against Ireland too imo got unlucky with rain. Pretty cool that in the end after all their bashing the tuktuk got them home.
Yeah England having such an atypically long batting lineup makes DLS kind of under-rate them when they're chasing, especially in terms of how much it punishes them for having lost early wickets.England were always raging favs throughout the run chase, even though at one point they got behind on D/L
Pakistan didn't deserve to be in the final but SA did after losing comprehensively to Netherlands. Sensible and normal train of thought.-Totally agree. -England would have finished on 8 points and topped Group A.
-Also, South Africa had already WON against Zimbabwe (they had already gone well past the 5 over target in 4 overs) but were truly cheated due to rain/DLS, South Africa would have had 6 points and thus finished ahead of Pakistan on NRR!!
Semi Finals should have been:
England v South Africa
India v New Zealand
Final:
England v New Zealand
But fate put Pakistan into the final out of nowhere.
Yeah, with wickets in hand the target was small enough that one big over was going to get it done.England were always raging favs throughout the run chase, even though at one point they got behind on D/L
