This is one of the things I hate about Umpire's Call. Surely the reason the umpire gave not out was because he thought it was bat first?

if we let umpires use tech at their discretion, the umpire could have gone 'yea I think it's out, but just check if there was any bat involved' and we'd get a better decision at the end

not a fan of judging a pitch till both teams have batted on it. NZ were struggling for timing too yesterday but Babar and Rizwan had no such issues.

The batters have got enough boundaries away but just play too many dot balls, and that's been the way they've played throughout the tournament. I think that's on them and doesn't have as much to do with the pitch.
