Most unceremonious exits from international cricket

We all remember the times greats leave on a high like Imran after the 1992 World Cup or McWarne after the 2007 Ashes.

What are the worst exits for cricketers with full careers in international cricket?

One immediate example is Miandad who chose to come out of retirement for the 96 WC just to be one of the last men on a sinking boat against India in Bangalore.

Vettori in the 2015 CWC final. Got a nasty sledge and send off from Haddin when he was the last chance to stay with Elliott and get a defendable score, and then took 0-25 off 5 overs as the Aussies cruised to victory.

Alan Donald's wasn't too hot. Yank a hammy as the opposition piles up about ten million runs.

I feel like Trescothick wasn't treated as well as he should've been or would be these days.

Talking of KP......he's possibly the answer to this thread.

Opinion will always be divided if it was his fault or everybody else's......either way his exit from international cricket was anything but ceremonious.

Liam Plunkett , last international match was the 2019 World Cup final for England , gets 3/42 in the match as England are crowned champions...

Gets dumped like yesterday's trash , excluded from a national contract after the World Cup which he finds out about on Twitter.
