Which nation has the strongest ATG XI with a chronological caveat of one player from each decade

Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
The stipulation being all players had to have made their test debut in different decades

This cripples WI, means only one of McWarne and Gilly can make it in, and well... I guess some teams won't even be able to make a complete side. Maybe this thread was a mistake but it's too late now to pull out of posting it

Maybe a handicap system can be implemented for nations that only started playing tests post WW2 so they can get 11 players

You need to amend the thread title with at least another h, and be quick with the handicapping system if you want more than England and Australia (maybe South Africa).

I think if my maths is right you can get full XIs from Windies, India and NZ too doing this

Handicap rule: NZ, WI, India and SA can have 2 decades be doubled up on with players, as in 2 from the 30s, 2 from the 90s

Pakistan 3 decades
SL... Um 5 decades

International Captain
Merchant (30s)
Gavaskar (70s)
Dravid (90s)
Tendulkar (80s)
Kohli (10s)
Engineer (60s)
Kapil (70s)
Mankad(40s)
Zaheer (00s)
Bumrah (10s)
Gupte(50s)

Can switch Zaheer with Amar Singh and Merchant with Sehwag for a more exciting team.

Could go more batting heavy with Border/Lindwall in for Lillee/Miller.
