If you play Engineer, you can just get him to open and open up a slot for someone like Mankad or Shakib for the extra bowling.

There is nothing to choose Engineer over Dhoni or PJ. With gloves PJ was better than Engineer, and was as equal with the bat. Dhoni, although a lesser keeper a superior batter to both Engineer and PJ,

And YK > VVS in any way you look at it.
If you need a ****ing long batting line ups, play Dinesh Chandimal as keeper bat, who averages 40 when keeping, and a superb keeper. Lesser with gloves than Dhoni, but superior bat. Actually a better batsman than both Imran and Kapil.

Yeah I like Laxman but he’s an eccentric selection there. Inzy and Kohli have cases against Younis. Laxman does not.

Have always been settled on the order of the top 6. 7-9 though is splitting hairs, Dravid a little below them.

Miandad and Dravid shouldn't be more than one place apart. Kapil can be a place or two higher, I think ahead of Waqar. Wonder if Kumble or Ashwin can sneak in the top ten.

Younis over Kapil is definitely a peak over volume selection but I’ve always been a big Waqar guy. Wouldn’t mind Kapil 7th at all. I don’t rate Kumble and Ashwin as high as Dravid.
