This was never justified... but not gonna blame Harmer this is all about poor selection policy.Judging by the way Harmer's currently going, no.
The things is this is not just about one bad selection decisions this has been coming for a long time... get away with it or not, the selection of the SA team is short sighted and largely just poor for the last 3/4 years. This is just a single repercussion of that and if it does not change soon things will just get worse long term and more difficult to fix. Most bad selections don’t actually cost teams the game but this one might. If Jansen came on when Harmer did it’s a completely different game.
Missed that. Very affectionate.I'd like to see more of that kissing couple
Quite possibly looking at that turn.Is two spinners justified?
The problem is that they're getting away with it quite often. What is it? Two losses in the past twelve months? Because they keep winning they're refusing to admit there's anything wrong with what they're doing.get away with it or not,
They have not lost... but are they getting away with it or just ignoring it. It was some lower order runs and atrocious Eng batting that won the last match. SA batting was still pretty poor and obvious to anybody with a set of eyes watching the game...The problem is that they're getting away with it quite often. What is it? Steve Waugh and Mark Waugh 237 at KingstonSo this partnership is 65 runs so far which makes it somewhat surprisingly the highest Stokes-Foakes partnership ever, having only batted five times together.
It needs to beat 75 to get past the best Foakes-Woakes partnership (3 innings) and 83 to topple the best offered by Stokes-Woakes (8).
The question is, what's the best ever Test partnership between two rhyming cricketers? Sadly Peter Willey never put on a fifty stand with Graham Dilley, and after that I was all out of ideas.
I know the definition of 'rhyme' is somewhat malleable but please let's have some standardsSteve Waugh and Mark Waugh 237 at Kingston
