Yeah, he's the least talked about member of this South African fast bowling quartet, yet he has almost 50 wickets at an average of 21.

Its what gives SA such a hard selection problem... Jansen has high potential as a tall left arm swing bowler and as a batsmen, Olivier is an outright pace man that has been consistently good and Ngidi has become this new ball and/or change bowler that takes wickets through deception and well Rabada is one of the best fast bowlers in the world... And its difficult to drop Maharaj who has, in my opinion, been the most consistent slow bowler in the long format of the game.

Has Dom Sibley fallen off the map completely then? Was looking tidy enough when they toured here?

Crawley has scored more than Root and pope combined .what a disaster.I am not surprised that the hated Bazbal has failed as it will more times than not with this batting lineup against world class bowling ie Australia South Africa.The one off against India was just that a one off freak result

Coetzee does have age on his side. He's seven years younger than Nortje, so there's still an opportunity for a test career, even if it's not an extended one. Unless of course, another hotshot bowler comes along and leapfrogs him, which is entirely possible.

It's not just may be worse. The only time Ngidi comes in at 10 is when Shamsi's playing.

Most of the Eng batsmen have largely haplessly flapped at all the SA bowlers...
