*Official* Bangladesh Tour of West Indies (& Guyana) 2022

Beamer

International Vice-Captain
Comfy for Bangladesh in the end. They are just much better than us at ODI's.

Yes they had the best of conditions but they deserved that as we've won most of the tosses so far. They exploited the pitch perfectly and their seamers showed more variety than ours.

Considering the conditions in the first innings and how much the ball gripped, we delivered a pretty boneheaded batting performance. Too many dots followed by desperation on the up shots resulting in wickets. You had to rotate the strike here, we didn't and Bangladesh did.

I just don't know where our ODI side is headed tbh. On the plus side I thought Moti was superb and if Pooran keeps this bowling form up he will add a lot to our side.

West Indies XI: Nicholas Pooran (C,WK), Shai Hope, Rovman Powell, Shemarh Brooks, Brandon King, Kyle Mayers, Romario Shepherd, Keemo Paul, Gudakesh Motie, Alzarri Joseph, Akeal Hosein,

I guess batting is stronger today due to Alzarri and Keemo in

Bangladesh XI: Tamim Iqbal (C), Litton Das, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mahmudullah, Afif Hossain, Nurul Hasan(WK), Mehidy Hasan, Mosaddek Hossain, Nasum Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, Mustafizur Rahman

No Taskin, no worries for Bangladesh. Saikat comes in...Still, no Bijoy.

Athar's gonna be fuming again.

This pitch couldn't be any better for us and any worse for the home team. Is the Guyana deck always like this?

Well, not always.

Traditionally, it's been low and slow. Which explains some of our latest international players (Motie, Sinclair, Permaul, Bishoo)

But, if we go back to the 3rd T20I of this series which was played here, the pitch was decent for batting. Pooran and King made some runs

Didn't realise this was Nasum's debut. He's been unreal so far. The batters have made Mosaddek look a lot better than the very modest sum of his bowling talents, but Nasum's been in rare form so far.

It's probably hard for you guys to actually get excited about a left arm spinner though, it's not something that will ever fill a gaping hole in a team - you have an infinite amount of them.
