Team of the tournament after 10 group matches:
1) Rusty Frost / o (B-AXI: 409 runs at 45.44, 26 sixes, 2 hundreds; the quintessential pinch-hitter is impossible to leave out despite bot-bashing)
2) Jacob Sampson / (A-JUR: 452 runs at 56.50, HS 133; the barely-nineteen year old has had a breakout tournament, leading run-scorer thus far)
3) Sam Ellery + / (A-TBI: 325 runs at 40.63; the Australian former national keeper-batsman will anchor the innings and take the gloves)
4) Raun Shkorer / (A-ZCC: 369 runs at 61.50; the batting titan, despite a couple of plops, has inevitably shown his class in CWC5)
5) Anthony Davidson* / (B-TMO: 344 runs at 38.22; he's certainly shown his worth recently has Davo, and he captains the team to boot)
6) Abdul Salman / (A-TBI: 384 runs at 48.00, 21 sixes; this aggressive, experienced batsman will finish off an innings well)
7) Navrang Gopalan o / (A-JUR: 23 wickets at a9.74, 6 sixes; trundler and swashbuckling hitter will serve as the primary all-rounder of the team)
8) Din Alam o / (A-HUN: 23 wickets at a10.74; the veteran 30yo Hunks all-rounder definitely isn't past it yet)
9) Lai O Yin (B-FHK: 20 wickets at a7.75 and e6.12; the clutch cult favourite earns a spot in this XI)
10) Chris Waters o (B-AXI: 22 wickets at a9.41 and e6.40; economical death spinner has done well this tournament)
11) Chung Yiu o (A-ZCC: 23 wickets at a7.43 and e5.32; the experienced quick has posted remarkable numbers up)
Group A heavy, interestingly. Obviously was massively tempting to include Hlengwa, but couldn't quite justify it...
