How did I get it so wrong? It's sitting at 2-0 to England and have to start believing it could be 3-0 to England in all likelihood. The first test match will be challenging for us. Kind of start the first test, even stevens with England also at 50%
I think we'll get into thick of things by the second. I reckon it's a 2-1 for us or 1-1 with a draw.
4 including South Africa. How did I get it so wrong? It's sitting at 2-0 to England and have to start believing it could be 3-0 to England in all likelihood.
We have had our moments in both tests but stuffed up.
Third loss in a row if you include the tour match vs a county side.
Both Tests were very much in the balance going into the final session in each game. Just a clutch 4th innings knock both times to settle it.How did I get it so wrong? It's sitting at 2-0 to England and have to start believing it could be 3-0 to England in all likelihood.

I don't think we have won a test series in a year now. Lost to India, drew vs Bangladesh, drew vs South Africa and loss to England. Can't remember when we last had this sort of results. I can take 1-0 vs India that's expected and likely we over performed but the rest hard to fathom.4 including South Africa.
Not everything is bad, Conway is still gun, Mitchell and Blundell have been fanstastic, Boult has found his mojo and so has Jamieson. On the downside dependable Kane and Latham have had some downs but you expect them to be back up and firing. Please, NO @nzfan! Now is the time that we need your optimism. I don't want to crash into a pit of despair quite yet.
That's because they've had more than 2 world class cricketers in a centuryLatham will be ‘back up and firing’ as soon as he is back on home turf, facing up to Sri Lanka at Hagley. Big runs, and all the plaudits and superlatives will get trotted out once again. ‘Mysterious’ how his form ebbs and wanes, but he’s always ‘reliable’ at Hagley against his favoured opponents.
The Aussies know how to put big bully boy runs in proper context, they won’t be ranking Voges and Hodge alongside Bradman any time soon.
I think we have 2 test matches vs Pakistan later this year and then Sri Lanka and England at home for 2 test matches each so no it's not just going to be Sri Lanka he will have to cope with but has good challenges coming his way.Latham will be ‘back up and firing’ as soon as he is back on home turf, facing up to Sri Lanka at Hagley. Nah it absolutely makes a difference in terms of flat out removing an option for the captain. Whether he’d have stemmed it or taken a few wickets, who knows. But he couldn’t have gone for any more than most of the blokes who were bowling.Kinda don't think Jamieson's injury made that much of a difference. We all know his T20 track record. Bairstow would've absolutely moidered him. NZ needed a Ferguson to try and induce a top top-edged slog.
All signs point to England being the best team of all timeNah it absolutely makes a difference in terms of flat out removing an option for the captain. Whether he’d have stemmed it or taken a few wickets, who knows. But he couldn’t have gone for any more than most of the blokes who were bowling.
Fmd 300 in two sessions on the last day. Simply should never happen unless you’re playing a genuine minnow/ second tier outfit. And for all their issues atm, nz ain’t that.
We played NZ and India last summer as I recallI thought their effort of scrambling a draw in one of the tests out here last summer had already proven that
Bowling plans were all over the place last night. First we spread the field and let Bairstow and Stokes rotate the strike quite comfortably. Left/right combination messing up our bowlers' lines. Bowled short after short after short and took too long to realize it is not working. We didn't even try to plug runs by say bowling defensively. We just bowled in their arc. Of course Bairstow played an inning to remember and Stokes very measured.Nah it absolutely makes a difference in terms of flat out removing an option for the captain.
