*Official* 2022 New Zealand Tour of England, Ireland, Scotland & Netherlands

I just checked and their figures were really very respectable. 8 wickets @23 for Anderson, 13@ 26 for Broad. I'm not sure it's even fair to say they struggled, though they did only manage 3 games each.
I mean when they were there England wasn't exactly winning either. You say insanity is making the same mistake over and over again hoping for change but then for these two apparently it doesn't apply (not that they should have been kicked out like that anyway).

My memory is admittedly spotty but haven't NZ pitches been mostly very flat in the last few summers?
Hagley and basin are as tough as they come. That's where we mostly play test cricket. Mount is a lot flatter.

There was some rank nonsense posted about them during the Ashes tour, as if them struggling in Australia under a mediocre captain and horrible selection was a serious indication of how they'd do on a day like today.
I'm more shocked we have held the catches as we have dropped nearly everything for about 18 months.

They’ve won loads of games with those two in the team, what are you on about. They didn’t lose a home series for a decade because of Broad and Anderson.

I understand that the human body needs a rest more often as it gets older but simplistically I just think if Anderson is fit he should play.

Yeah this can't be underestimated. First catch was a blinder, that can happen anytime, but the second and third were regulation, the kind that England's been dropping more often than not in recent years. Shell them and the wobbles can easily start returning.

This was about them in the Windies though? Or did you just change the subject? Or was it about Australia only?

Where is Parkinson at the moment? Could they get him there in time? Are Mason Crane and Liam Dawson at the Oval at the moment?
