I wouldn't want some characteristics with some skills - like death bowler for a high acc/mov seamer, quick runner for an opener, any fielding skill with a crap fielder - but ultimately I've had success with such players anyways. I think it's all very minor, and you could set lineups completely ignoring them and still beat teams weaker than you. Finding a way to optimize characteristics shouldn't take preference over using players skills well.So how do you guys rate the characteristics? Do you think they make a big difference to the player? What is import for you?
I don't mind Superstar/Erratic/Influential, but I'd almost certainly drop them once their touch gets to around 5 and I have alternatives that are nearly as good ready to take their place.
