Taker being inducted into the HOF is something I'm going to watch for sure. What was the announcement like?

Not followed the E for a while, but seems odd they did not advertise the fact that it was Austin's 1st match in 20 years and probably his last.
think this is a warmup for an actual final match in a saudi show

wouldn't be surprised if they get the rock back for it. or an insane one time deal for a cm punk match

It sounded like they didn't want to over promise with the Stone Cold "match" but when it actually happened adrenaline wiped away the years and he could go just fine

I was sure we would get Roman v The Rock this year at Mania, but obviously not. I think it will happen and it will be at Mania but obviously Rock has so much other **** to do. He is also one of the few wrestlers who has no need for the Saudi money .so when it happens it will be Mania and it will be his last match.

But yeah the Saudis may offer him a fortune for one more match and while he is comfortable I doubt he could turn down that money.

Has ended up being a pretty classic Mania. HHH leaving his boots in the ring. Stone Cold getting one last hurrah in Texas. Cody Rhodes the top guy. All the celebrity guest stuff is actually great. Becky/Bianca/Ronda/Charlotte all looking like stars.

Honestly thought this mania looked dreadful on paper and that the build up had been poor.

also on his podcast, finishing his career by putting someone else over o his last match seemed pretty important to him so i guess he will put someone else over in saudi before quitting for real

For a new episode idea for that Dark Side of Ring they should do an episode on the Pat McAfee / Austin Theory / Vince segment and the Steve Austin segment, not a fan of that type of thing

I dunno, I don't really watch the product much anymore , but it seemed harmless enough to me?

Isn't Theory bit of a jobber etc so not like they had someone relevant involved and was a fun enough match . Pat and Theory sold the stunners hilariously although obviously Vince didn't. Crowd seemed to like it and seemed like a fun little match before the main event?

I havent really been following WWE for a while, its just I dont like it when they put on a match where one can clearly see people are really struggling. Could have had a match between McAfee and Theory where Vince is on the sidelines and interferes occassionaly. It was like that Bret Hart vs Vince McMahon at Wrestlemania a while back and Brett was really struggling. AEW is getting it right with Sting, isnt he in his 60's or something

It wasn't good, but it was hardly Dark Side of the Ring-worthy.

It was a harmless (if pretty crap) segment.

Haha yeah wtf, it's just a Steve stuns everyone segment. Likely one of the last and in front of a Texas crowd. Definitely the last stunner Vince will ever take.

Was an ATG mania but seemingly a very average Raw after mania. Don't think I'll be watching wwe TV anytime soon but I do hope Vince starts to properly step aside soon. The talent is extremely good right now and there seems to be a generation of proper celebrities that can actually ****ing wrestle out there. I bet 90s Vince would've been all over getting some of these guys contracted at any cost.
