*Official* Bangladesh in South Africa 2022

Not the worst result for us as our bowlers are knackered. Be good to have them fresh for the new ball.

Definitely South Africa's day, and this partnership looks a bit ominous. I do think there's enough seam movement out there to justify bowling first, but you need a proper world class attack to exploit it. Even when our guys have bowled better lengths, they haven't looked like they're on top of the batsmen. Some really high quality bowlers might have done a lot better.

Mulder gone for a first ball duck. I wanted him to get a good score and do well in this series since he is such a fine prospect. Just hasn't come together yet for him.
Im convinced if they let him bat higher at 7 he would do far better, kind of like when Stokes used to bat 8 and just get duck after duck.

This variable bounce is going to be very hard to bat against. I'm probably going to concede now that bowling first was a bad idea.

There still seems to be a bunch of Cricinfo commenters questioning his place in the team for some reason, so I'd love to see him get a century here, in the hope that some of them finally shut up (but they probably still won't).
