TBH I genuinely didn't want a pyrhic victory of a few wickets here, we need to go down as humiliatingly as possible.Keep the leg side half volley's coming to the end.
I feel like my work here is done .Humiliating, genuinely don't know where we go from here. I've kinda been on the late 80s 90s sides were worse, but not so sure anymore sans Branderson.
Confirmation yet again that England's win there in 2004 remains one of our more under-rated performances.Well done wi, seem to continue their home streak against England.
This precisely. I remember the last time England was in the WI, their press was talking mad schitt, especially the likes of Flintoff, Boycott etc. When are they going to learn to just keep their traps shut....Btw if England fans ever need to understand why we play so much better against you than against anyone else, just check out this article from Paul Newman in the Daily Mail, as an example.
Josh Da Silva punishes England with an unbeaten maiden test century
PAUL NEWMAN IN GRENADA: This was as bad as it can possibly get for an England team routinely used to defeat and humiliation during their last five miserable Test series without victory.www.dailymail.co.uk
It says Kyle Mayers is a 'journeyman' and a 'trundler' and Joshua Da Silva a 'limited batsman.' Yet no word on the talent or lack thereof of messer's Woakes, Overton and Lees.
This guy knows nothing about Josh, who is actually an attacking opener in white ball cricket with lots of shots, but one with the discipline to put them away if required. Mayers took wickets against South Africa and Sri Lanka and of course played one of the ATG knocks just last year.
Your journalists do this every tour. Tbf sometimes even your management does it. You'd think years of getting beaten in the Caribbean would teach them to shut up. But nope, it's every single time.
Had to look it up and found this. Against a pretty decent if not vintage WI team too.Confirmation yet again that England's win there in 2004 remains one of our more under-rated performances.
Yep. It's mad to me honestly. This precisely. I remember the last time England was in the WI, their press was talking mad schitt, especially the likes of Flintoff, Boycott etc. When are they going to learn to just keep their traps shut....
