india buys 85% of all military equipment including weapons from russia

plus they stood with us in 1971 and threatened usa with nuclear submarines on our behalf when we split pak in two

but i don't think india is as friendly with russia these days but still does not want to offend any of rus, chi or usa to maintain the current status quo

To be honest, any nation that doesn't condemn Russia is part of the Axis of Evil
