Miller? The greatest indictment on the SA batting order is that VDD appears to be the best batsmen...
Quotas/political correctness gone madGreat catch. I may have missed something but there appears to be only Bangladesh fans in the stadium. Anyone know what that is about?
Both clauses are so accurate.Shakib is both a guy unfairly ignored as an ATG allrounder and someone who should **** off forever.
Haha well he does average 75. Starting to get into "not a totally silly sample size" territory too.The greatest indictment on the SA batting order is that VDD appears to be the best batsmen...
I'm not sure he should have actually played a single ODI yet. He's shown no aptitude for the format, even at lower levels.Well done Bangladesh. Wish I had more to comment but didn't get a chance to watch a single ball, hope SA bounces back! Markram is quickly playing himself out of the Test and ODI sides.
That's not true... he has dominated FC and List A at times, scored some big impressive hundreds. He is turning into a Duminy, at the lower levels he looks so good but for whatever reason he just can not translate that. I think it a mental attitude unable to relax, puts to much pressure on himself.I'm not sure he should have actually played a single ODI yet. Making him continue to play a format he never really figured out while he's also in career worst form is just cruel. Nothing to be gained from this, really.
@Prince EWS , StephenZA is totally right. He has looked a class above whenever I watch him in domestics. I hope this isn't another Duminy situation. How much can we read into the fact that his best work comes when he is playing T20I cricket? Seems more settled in what he needs to do.That's not true... he has dominated FC and List A at times, scored some big impressive hundreds. That hope has died... they need to send him back down, pick some other youngsters and maybe come back to him in 18 months, if he has sorted himself out. Considering how quickly they dropped Hamza, Markram been given plenty of opportunity.Yeah, Markram averages 42 in List A matches with a strike rate of 96.95 with a high score of 183. Those figures are obviously going to look even better if you remove ODIs, so you can definitely understand why they keep picking him, hoping that he'll come right.
SA have some all rounders running around and at this stage if that is the thinking rather play Mulder. Scored a great ton in domestic the other day.Isn't the fact that Markram can bowl and apparently none of ur other batters do, a thing?
