Rizwan and Babar got big knocks and it could be the making of them as international cricketers, given its at home and in front of this type of crowd and against an opponent they typically choke against. Hope they can carry on and PCB concentrates on them achieving their potential than whatever stupid fight they wanna pick with BCCI.

Fun game of cricket. Cheating Aussies got the best of batting conditions by far and tampered with the ball like no tomorrow yet still couldn't bowl out the softest lower order in world cricket. Hopefully Cummins gets banned for cheating in the next test as he should.

Bad tactics late hurt, though IDK if we plain couldn't bowl seam at some point. Those drops killed, had at least two of them been held we win.
Fantastic effort from Pakistan late, especially from Shafique, Babar and Rizwan.
Does this mean the follow-on comes back into vogue? Had it been announced there I don't think Pakistan can save it.

It obviously didn't end up Rob Key levels of epic and a Test that's artificially brought to life by a declaration two down is always a bit like kissing your sister, but as I said I'll take that as the upper bound of 'the flat one' of a summer for sure. Entertaining game throughout even when teams didn't look like taking a wicket.
