Whatever it takes!!!
Although Mandhana is an awesome player to watch, she gives the impression that she is restricting herself in terms of free flow of the bat. It feels like there is some mental block where she is playing her shots with 70% conviction and not 100%.

Which is annoying because the day she decides to play free flowing cricket she is going to take her game to next level.

The female KL Rahul.

India's approach in this chase has been quite bizarre.
They are in a huge hole, but they have dug it themselves.
You simply can't go along at 2 runs per over and expect to catch it up later.

I felt she was too obsessed with trying to score through the covers today. Loves her cover drive a bit too much.

She is good with the pull strokes but NZ cut it off today and bowled really well to a plan. Bringing in an offie to both lefties worked well for them too.

But yes both openers played very restrictively without innovating much.

Jeez, this is a big over. I think we're safe now, but it's a heck of an innings anyway.

Still very early days in the tourny but at the moment semifinal race looking like - Australia will def make it, windies very good chance after 2 upset wins .

So most likely NZ, England , Sa and India fighting for the last 2 semifinal spots?
Wouldn't count out pakistan or Bangladesh from picking up a upset but cant see either pushing for a semifinal spot
