Its not his fault that Bangladesh has barely played any matches in SENA countries and his average in those 8 matches is identical to his overall average so no, its not really a factor for me.Shakib has played a sum total of 8 tests in SENA countries. May not be his fault obviously unless he has skipped some of this tours which I don't recall. Interested to know if people who have voted for him are aware of his SENA sample size or just don't consider it important. He still has a very good record in those matches though.
Personally for me, that isn't a decent enough sample size to take down some one like Kapil.
It's a fair point. And he skipped the tour of SA and nz recently so not sure I'd give him the benefit of doubt like I used to.Shakib has played a sum total of 8 tests in SENA countries. Little from Column A, little from Colum B.May not be his fault obviously unless he has skipped some of this tours which I don't recall.
A new low for CW
YesKapil and Hadlee below Shakib
Seriously?
Given the way SAf struggled against spin, it could have been only better for Shakib. It's a fair point. And he skipped the tour of SA and nz recently so not sure I'd give him the benefit of doubt like I used to.
Surely he is only a contender for a ODI list. How Shakib and Kapil are getting in ahead of Faulkner, Hadlee, Pollock?
