A "bid for position" draft: categories

More clarification, plus a question:
- The bids you're sending at this point should be the 11 numbers (adding up to $1,000,000) for your bids in the draft, not the players you want to pick.

Also, I was intending that the bids are specific to the categories - however, I've had one set of bids submitted under the assumption that they weren't, This would change how the draft works slightly, but possibly makes more sense, given that all of the picks are being made in one block. (I would still, I think, insist that you state the category you're picking a player in at the time of making the pick).
Any preferences for either of these options?

Not making the bids specific to the categories would be more fun I think. But yeah, you’d have to state which category when you made your pick.
