Because you seemed to disagree with my post saying there needed to be a study...?Why do you presume there would be no study or that I suggested there should be no study?

I was disagreeing that measurement tolerances are arbitrary.Because you seemed to disagree with my post saying there needed to be a study...?
Sadly we've been relying on them a lot.Pant and Ashwin not doing much makes this batting order look super thin
Yeah, his action still looks a little "young MJ" in that there are a lot of moving parts, not fully refined yet. Once that's all in order he's going to be scary.Jansen has destroyed us all series, serious find . What a dreadful batting lineup though.
Yep. Covering for the crapness in the engine room from 3 to 5, but that's not sustainable long termSadly we've been relying on them a lot.
Remember England winning those games a few years ago with their bat deep lineups.Yep. Covering for the crapness in the engine room from 3 to 5, but that's not sustainable long term
Broad's batting has become an actual honest to god meme now so it's easy to forget that it genuinely won England not just Test matches but quite possibly series tooRemember England winning those games a few years ago with their bat deep lineups.
Yeah this doesn't yell "240 par" pitch to me. Tricky but hardly unmanageable.I really don't think this pitch is unplayable at all. 275-300 par afaic. I don't even think indias batsmen have done much wrong just not good enough to handle quality bowling. This might be the most consistently good Sa's attack has bowled this series.
I doubt India are relying on Pant or Ashwin. The latter is a spinner who is a handy bat and Pant has a high score of 50 in his last 11 completed innings. Not exactly reliable.Sadly we've been relying on them a lot.
