The forecast doesn't look too bad for day 4 and 5; might lose a couple of sessions but don't think it will be full washout on both days. So we should push on to make the big score here, potentially time for Taylor to get that century if he can.

Taylor averaging 30-odd in this series was a bit of a miracle tbh
Yeah, he's cooked. Doesn't take away one inch from his career but if the MIQ requirements are the reason Ross isn't playing SA, that's a blessing because it allows him to go out without having to recognise he's not in our best top 5 anymore.

Will be interesting to see how his ODI form goes

****, you gotta catch that.

Latham been real loose since 200. In fairness, we are trying to push on and that's admirable that he's playing to the match position.

Of course it’s totally pointless to analyse Taylor’s batting now, but anyway…it feels like his belief in his own ability has dropped away faster than his actual ability. Looked like he would’ve been fine there if he hadn’t felt the need to throw caution to the wind once he played and missed once or twice.

I optimistically feel like this road is a still a bit seamy. If the 4-prong is not totally off-colour again we might even be able to take a few wickets.

Credit to Bangladesh - they seem very well coached and/or captained. They might not have bowled well yesterday but they always seem like they have a well thought-out plan and try and stick to it. The tactic to go short to slow down Latham, with a bit of bounce in the wicket and big boundaries, is spot on.

And now they've got Nicholls. Really impressed by their bowling outfit in particular, Ottis Gibson must be a valuable asset
