Curious, was it cold in Sydney today? There was a bit of rain about but wouldn’t have thought it needed a sweater.
Nah was mid20s or so. But if breeze about though. Can get chilly at the ground if there’s a south-easterly blowing when you factor that in.

also good to see on this interview with Bairstow an English player looking like he’s actually enjoyed his cricket. They’ve basically looked tortured since day one of the series for the most part

Not gonna lie, like most of my compatriots and indeed posters round here, I had severe Bairstow reservations. But you can’t knock what he did this morning.

The interview on Fox? Don’t think it was that big a deal tbh.

his ton yesterday was very good though.

I guess it shows that talent does win out at this level at the end, even if very intermittently. No one doubts that Bairstow's got a knock like this in him, which is perhaps something you can't say of a lot of more "correct", but very limited, players England have tried

boland finally been figured out. so i think jhye will get a go for the hobart test. he'll swing it. rest starc for hazlewood if haze is fit as well.

two changes

jhye for boland(figured out)
haze for starc(looks worn)

fairly ordinary bowling performance.
