Should have picked Yadav in place of Thakur. At least Yadav would have bowled at 140 and picked up a few wickets.

Really wanted 4 front line pacers.

Thakur played an awful shot in the 4th innings of the Gabba Test too! India had just lost Sundar and only needed a few more runs.. But behind him were likes of Saini, Natarajan etc and he threw his wicket! Thankfully Pant finished off the job.

A lot of current batch of Indian cricketers handle pressure well in big games but fall very short with the technical game. Thakur and Pant fit perfect in that category.
