Vihari looked solid and is also pretty handy with the ball. He will be more than useful in SENA if he is given a longer rope.

SeamUp has not posted for about a year or so I think.... I sent him a direct message in March which he answered; basically saying he was struggling to enjoy the cricket because of well everything going on. I think the whole covid thing also effected his work and friends/people he knew in cricket circles etc. I note he has not even been on since May... hopefully he is still doing alright and once everything comes right he will come back. He is by far the most knowledge person here on current SA cricket. National and domestic.

This deck is gonna become very difficult, I think. 2 paced, up and down, will get much faster as well. Thats why I did not like the look of the pitch patchyness!

He did try and play down on it to be fair but it came on quicker than he anticipated. Should you avoid the hook shot altogether when there's fielders there? I don't think it was the worst idea playing it.

Pretty bad wicket. Things were looking mostly comfortable, seemed like the pitch and intensity had eased up. No way we get to 300 from here with that lower order. 200 might be a struggle.
