International Debutant
Surprised to learn he has two test wickets. In his final test maybe they should give him one last over.Ross wouldn't bowl even if he was demanded to, he'd politely tell Tom to **** off.

NZ will bowl with much increased intensity and will give it their all, so anything is possible. I have seen bigger teams crumble on day 5 in nz, not necessarily due to the pitch.Lol pitch is a road & nobody is getting out under 2 sessions here. Kiwi bowlers look exhausted & playing no first choice spinner looks like a blunder.
I think Shakib underestimated how much stat-padding he could have done in this first test when he decided to pull outTo be fair to Bangers, they're missing the two most accomplished players in their history and are also similarly undercooked.
Think he'd fancy a few wickets on a day 5 set up like this as well.I think Shakib underestimated how much stat-padding he could have done in this first test when he decided to pull out
There are tons of possibilities but no denying Bangers will have to play & sh** their beds massively to blew this one. Might turn out to be a draw. Remember Pakistan also almost drew the game here. This ain't Basin reserve or Hagley oval.NZ will bowl with much increased intensity and will give it their all, so anything is possible. Tough call but I can't see that bet paying much more. NZ will probably get the last four wickets for under 50 tomorrow morning and then ease past the deficit 2 down at most.My $10 bet on a bangerz win is now offering $30 to cash out. Should I do it or a let it ride and bank on an nz top order wobble to send it to the moon?
Both obviously ?A lot of comments about NZ being undercooked.
But then Southee and Jamieson are tired from bowling in India.
Which one is it?
Feel like Mominul has done enough to be in the conversation for best pure batsman with Tamim now.To be fair to Bangers, they're missing the two most accomplished players in their history and are also similarly undercooked.
Don't really agree, he debuted right near the start of the "absolutely putrid roads in Bangladesh" era and he averages less than 30 away. I'd still have Shakib and Rahim ahead of him.Feel like Mominul has done enough to be in the conversation for best pure batsman with Tamim now.
Both wickets here, absolute hand grenadesSurprised to learn he has two test wickets. In his final test maybe they should give him one last over.
Rahim and Shakib aren't as good as they were imo. So agree with OPDon't really agree, he debuted right near the start of the "absolutely putrid roads in Bangladesh" era and he averages less than 30 away. I'd still have Shakib and Rahim ahead of him.
For a bit of context, Rahim and Shakib actually both average 44 in games they've played with Mominul.
He's only 30 so he could get there if he improves later-career like Rahim and Shakib have but I don't think he's done enough yet.
