***Official*** Bangladesh in NZ 2021-22

I can't believe I ate the whole thing
Honestly I think we got the best out of Blundell when he was opening the batting. His keeping hasn't been flash and fairly average down the order, save for one innings batting at 8 that took a good score to a great score but wasn't exactly match saving or defining.

Four sloppy wickets given away suggests NZ are a bit rusty. I expect their bowlers to be less rusty however, so the market looks about right...

Just noticed that in the 10 minutes since I started watching since tea, I have fallen 2.03 minutes behind. Which basically means Spark has been frozen for every 1 second in 5. It is driving me nuts!
Oh so this isn't just me?

I gave up, was an absolute joke. I hate Spark. Just recommited for a month and I won't be renewing

Seemed there were issues with Chromecast and Spark Sport today as I was having similar issues to some others on here. Spark have at least acknowledged the problem and are working on a fix.

Doesn't feel like Bangladesh take five wickets on the opening day of an away test too often.
Might be hard playing away Tests as a Bangladesh player, knowing your opposition has the unfair advantage of playing against Bangladesh at home in every single one of those games.

I bet Tamim would love to get to play Bangladesh at home.

Trying unsuccessfully to upload a pic I took of Taylor as he went out to bat. The crowd really got behind him. Gutted to now find out he apparently was out to a no-ball! Bangladesh probably deserved some luck after Young's nick behind in the 30's was missed by everyone.

Was driving earlier in the day and was again impressed by the commentary of John Bracewell. Really enjoys discussing nuts and bolts technical things the players are doing and tactics. Jacob Oram was a good addition to the radio commentary too.

WHAT?
how on earth does that happen? thought all wickets are checked these days, how did you even find out it was a no ball?
haven't heard Bracewell or Oram yet but I really miss Bryan Waddle.
the guy has been a major part of NZ cricket forever, almost feel like starting a campaign BRING BACK BRIAN.

Nah. The last decade of his commentary was basically one long uninterrupted whinge. Biased, crotchety and not particularly interesting. Glad he’s gone. I do love listening to Jeremy Coney whenever NZ tour England though.

Hope Taskin cleans up the tail tomorrow he’s bowled really well from what I’ve seen of this test.
Ugh. Bad shot. And that makes it a decent day for Bangladesh. They've persisted and though a couple of the wickets were odd ones, they've earned them.

NZ still need 450, a lot of batting tomorrow.
the 2 sides of the coin, Taskin snatches a couple of early wickets and restrict NZ to 300, or partnerships and its 450.
450 will be tough from here though, but anything close to 400 would be handy enough.
