hes the best cricketer to ever play the sport. counting all formats.god that guy was insane good, now completely retired of all cricket right?
he was also exceptional in any other sports he chose to play.
yeah, and they were too busy laughing at his running, but those shots he played last over were terrible. and obviously that's how he got out in the endi'm honestly surprised stokes didn't try and hog the strike. he was clearly rattled after that, started playing a shot a ball
yeah that tickle to the nuts really cramped his style.i'm honestly surprised stokes didn't try and hog the strike. he was clearly rattled after that, started playing a shot a ball
yes it can and you know itThis really can't get any worse
Bad choice of wordsi'm honestly surprised stokes didn't try and hog the strike. he was clearly rattled after that, started playing a shot a ball
Well he's scored 175 runs at 43.75 after 2 tests. That's still pretty goodlmao root
form of his life before ashes. being ragdolled in aus lol
sure. for an england batterWell he's scored 175 runs at 43.75 after 2 tests. That's still pretty good
he could yet still be the series top run scorer.lmao root
form of his life before ashes. being ragdolled in aus lol
Easily. I mean any one of Smith injury, Stokes lucky innings, a single bad umpiring decision not happening and the 2019 Ashes would have been 3-1 at worst.think neser, haze, cummins plus others can snag an away ashes if batsmen figure out a method to not suck against swing
Could also argue it the other way. Australia’s win in the first test was aided considerably by Clouderson getting injured.Easily. I mean any one of Smith injury, Stokes lucky innings, a single bad umpiring decision not happening and the 2019 Ashes would have been 3-1 at worst.
Sure there are hundreds of moments that go either way you could point to, in every series, but this was literally one bad umpiring decision that decided the 3rd Test. Stokes was plumb lbw when England were 9-down and that would have been that.Could also argue it the other way. Australia’s win in the first test was aided considerably by Clouderson getting injured.
