any reason harris was persisted despite him being obviously bad? this is his last test innings - 2nd innings will be. khawaja to move into opener i'd say?Close contest between Roy and Harris imo

He's been the most successful non-Pucovski opener domestically.any reason harris was persisted despite him being obviously bad? this is his last test innings - 2nd innings will be. khawaja to move into opener i'd say?
goes to show - attacks at test level are on a different level than domestic.I've just seen Harris' dismiss and holy moly. Good catch from Buttler though.

No real other options. The rest are either too new, concussed or now middle order bats and I don't think repeating the Wade opener experiment is worth the time. And like Starfighter said, Harris has some runs in the bank.any reason harris was persisted despite him being obviously bad? this is his last test innings - 2nd innings will be. khawaja to move into opener i'd say?
Could've picked Lawrence instead of Woakes and got him to share the spin duties with RootRoot will probably bowl himself a fair bit as the main spin option.
To make my point again, if it didn't feel very unorthodox having a specialist batsman at 8(or Joss) I could totally have justified playing one over Woakes here
Sorry wutSo even though Hazelwood was a scratch, Star still got dropped from the team?

The lifeless Melbourne pitches would help. They've helped Pucovski as well, but he's scored a lot more when fit.goes to show - attacks at test level are on a different level than domestic.
Misread the scorecard. Saw that both Jhye and Neser were in so I assumed it was at his expenseSorry wut
Smith will nick it first up. Its almost as if Marnus has been using all of Smith's luck over the past two yearsCan these ****s nick one
Apparently so, or something.
I must say, speaking of Anderson, not exactly hustling them down here. That last one was 128.9. Does make you wonder about the concerns about his fitness, not being a spring chicken. He was regularly bowling mid-high 130s in the home season.
that spark post works as an answer to your question. no cloud in sight
