According to statistician Michael Wagener, since 1980 Somerville is the only specialist bowler to have batted out a full session in the 4th innings away in India.
Haha, holy ****. I would like to shout Mr Wagener a beer sometime, because that is an outrageous stat that can't have been easy to find

Anyone know the answer to this? I can't find anything. I can't particularly remember any, either
Vettori scored a stroke filled 50 at Lords as nightwatchman on the 1999 tour in which NZ won 2-1. Was a definite momentum seizing innings in terms of the match and possibly the series.

Looks like this is our answer. Batted at 7, but looks like against the second new ball ahead of Parore, Cairns and Nash, all of whom would've come in before him

Stating the obvious, but KW somewhat crucial here. If he gets out in single figures, I might give up and go and do something else.

I just hope for a Williamson master class for a run a ball hundred to win the match to make this match memorable...
His away record has been a point of criticism when it comes to comparing the top four. Ensuring a win here would raise his stocks.

Latham’s been comfortable going about things as long as someone from the other end is not getting tied up. Feels like his longevity also depends on KW hitting his straps here.
