So entering the final week of the CWC3, and it seems like our Top 6 have been confirmed! Dynamo Morpork and FHK locked in as 1st and 2nd respectively, which seems them both proceed directly to the semi-finals. Still some movement possible between 3-6, so we'll only know the exact Play-Off fixtures after this weekend's final group stage games.

The fixtures will be:

Sat 27th Nov
Play Off 1 - 3rd Place (Home) vs 6th Place (Away)
Play Off 2 - 4th Play (Home) vs 5th Place (Away)

Sat 4th Dec
Semi Final 1 - Dynamo Morpork (Home) vs Winner Play Off 1 (Away)
Semi Final 2 - FHK (Home) vs Winner Play Off 2 (Away)

Sat 11th Dec
Grand Final - Winner SF 1 (Home) vs Winner SF 2 (Away)

@Magrat Garlick @ataraxia @Charlie B @SillyCowCorner1 this seem good?

We could also run a similar KO competition for the teams placed 7th to 12th - for the CWC3 Plate - if the teams are willing? @StephenZA @Marcuss @honestbharani

Sure. :)

I suggest we start CWC4 on 11 December as well. Will do the draw a week earlier.

As some groups will have fewer teams and/or byes, it might be a good idea to have 2 matchdays a week for the group phase, so that everyone gets at least one match a week?

Joshua Wong coming into the FHK XI for today's game vs TMO. Spavor continues to be left on the sidelines.

Bowling well judging by the ball quality (8.4 on average!) but a touch expensive so far. Let's see if he tightens up. TMO with 52 runs in the first 12 overs. Pitch is pretty decent to bat on, minus the wear, 229 feels below par.

channelslogskewedWong DROPPED a tough chance in the infield!

Oof. That might be the game. Needed that wicket. Wong's a weaker fielder than Ted Hui, and he's bowled well but dropped this. They needed 53 in 52 with 6 wickets in hand. Now it's 41 from 48.

Wicket falls on 42.3 as I type, followed by 4 overthrows by Agnes Chow. Drama all around!

OMG 2 balls after Agnes Chow's bullet arm costs us 4 runs, Tin Yau's bullet arm nails us a runout! 35 off 42, Hetal Tyagi fresh to the crease with 'Superstar' number 4 Prabath Margenout going well on 36 from 35. TMO still ahead but we've got a foot in the door.

3 quick wickets turning the game on its head... MTOs succumbing to the pressure.

Margenout needs to bring the team home here.

Pong Nam bursts right through that door! 1 wicket and just 1 run from the 44th over, Tyagi bowled for naught. 34 off 36 - Pol De Klerk can bat and Margenout is looking very dangerous.
