Wow what an innings by Lendl.

I really am tired of this set up. Just let Gayle open for one last tournament and be done with it. I think this is just underpar but wouldn;t be surprised if we managed to defend it as the pitch was very slow.

Have to questoin the fairness of the on-field umpiring there. How on earth was the catch earlier given out as a soft signal and yet that was not out? Thank goodness justice prevailed.

Since foreshortening is a given in these situations, it's high time umpires stop mucking about and just look at finger positioning and overall control. Unless the ball's landed blatantly short there's no point giving batsmen the benefit.

Good to see sanity prevailing there. A soft signal either way on a low to the ground catch from 40 meters away should carry zero weighting to the final decision.
